What is CVs CENL?
CVs CENL is Science and Experiences of Spanish Scientists in the Netherlands, an event of scientific outreach about Spanish science in the Netherlands, where Spanish scientists established in this country will report their personal and professional journey since their arrival, in a professional and enjoyable context. It is aimed at anyone interested in knowing the scientific projection of Spaniards based in this country.
This event will be held with the sponsorship of the Spanish Embassy in the Netherlands and funds from the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation and Development (AECID).
When and where will it take place?
This event will take place on September 20, 2019 in the main building of the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, starting at 5:30 p.m.
The program consists of two parts:
5:30 pm – 7:00 pm: Scientific dissemination seminars
7:00 pm – 8:30 pm: Networking and borrel
We are pleased to have scientific professionals from different academic fields, whose trajectory has led them to be based in the Netherlands:

- Santiago García Espallargas – Associate Professor of Materials Science, TUDelft
- Rebeca Fernández Rodríguez – Associate Professor of Linguistics, Universiteit van Amsterdam
- Clara Esteve – Senior Scientist, Janssen Pharmaceutical Company
How do I sign up?
Our capacity is limited, and therefore it is necessary to register to attend the event. Acceptance will be awarded by strict order of registration.
