DESCRIPTION:✨ ¡From Science to the Ballroom culture: experiment with Voguing in our next social activity! ✨ \n✨¿Did you ever heard of Ballroom culture?✨ You might recognize Vogue by Madonna\, Abracadabra by Lady Gaga\, or the series Pose—all of them are inspired by this iconic movement! \nFor our next social event\, we’re inviting Jade Hu (@jademugler)\, an active member of the Ballroom scene and a medical student. Jade will share her experience in the Ballroom scene and will guide us through a Voguing practice (beginner’s workshop).  \nVoguing is much more than just a dance: it’s expression\, resistance\, and creativity\, with movements inspired by modern dance\, ballet\, and magazine model poses. ✨ \n This activity is open to everyone and all skill levels—whether you’ve never heard of Ballroom or have already explored it\, this space is for you! \n After the workshop\, we’ll stick around for a borrel and connect with other CENLers in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. \n Location: CREA Amsterdam\n Date: Saturday\, May 24th\n ⏰ Time: 15:00 – 17:00 (Voguing practice); 17:00 (Borrel) \n Contribution: €5 (CENL members) or €10 (non-members)\n Dress code: Comfy & stretchy clothing \n Register here: https://tinyurl.com/CENLvogue  \nThis activity is organized by the Diversity\, Gender and Equity committee.
