DESCRIPTION:The Cervantes Institute in Utrecht has created the event Biobanks: Present and future of biomedical and technolofical research for healthcare. \nWithin the framework of their programming dedicated to the dissemination of scientific topics\, the Cervantes Institute in Utrecht has the honor of inviting Dr. Eva Ortega-Paíno in collaboration with the National Cancer Research Center (CNIO) who will present a conference dedicated to Biomedicine and Biobanks and their role in diseases such as cancer. \nEva Ortega-Paíno is Scientific Director of the Biobank of the CNIO (National Center for Oncological Research)\, Director of Management of RENACER (National Brain Metastasis Network)\, Coordinator of the Biobank Hub of the Carlos III Health Institute Platform for Biobanks and Biomodels and General Secretary of RAICEX (Network of Associations of Spanish Researchers and Scientists Abroad). \nThis activity is part of the activities carried out at the Cervantes Institute in Utrecht\, on the occasion of the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union. \nInterested?\nRegister in this link. DESCRIPTION:The Gender\, Diversity and Equality Committee of CENL would like to invite you to the first of a series of WE ARE ALL CENL events. We will start with an in-person kick-off event\, where we will discuss and raise awareness of the persistent inequality gap in science. We aspire to spark your enthusiasm and empower you to raise your voice in support of these important causes. Together\, let’s foster an inclusive and vibrant scientific community that values and celebrates the contributions of all individuals. Join us in creating a more equitable future for science! The program will be followed by a Spanish borrel to get to know each other!   \nWe will have exceptional speakers around round tables to discuss the following topics:  \n\nWomen in Science \nLGBTQ+ in Science: awareness and how to be a good ally\nEthnic and cultural diversity in Science\n\nFor the round tables\, everybody will be able to participate and exchange ideas.  We would love to engage in inspiring discussions with all attendees.\nRegistration and further information here!
