DESCRIPTION:The Cervantes Institute in Utrecht has created the event Biobanks: Present and future of biomedical and technolofical research for healthcare. \nWithin the framework of their programming dedicated to the dissemination of scientific topics\, the Cervantes Institute in Utrecht has the honor of inviting Dr. Eva Ortega-Paíno in collaboration with the National Cancer Research Center (CNIO) who will present a conference dedicated to Biomedicine and Biobanks and their role in diseases such as cancer. \nEva Ortega-Paíno is Scientific Director of the Biobank of the CNIO (National Center for Oncological Research)\, Director of Management of RENACER (National Brain Metastasis Network)\, Coordinator of the Biobank Hub of the Carlos III Health Institute Platform for Biobanks and Biomodels and General Secretary of RAICEX (Network of Associations of Spanish Researchers and Scientists Abroad). \nThis activity is part of the activities carried out at the Cervantes Institute in Utrecht\, on the occasion of the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union. \nInterested?\nRegister in this link. We will start with an in-person kick-off event\, where we will discuss and raise awareness of the persistent inequality gap in science.
