Last Saturday, 2 May, at CENL we swapped seminars and research for a day with a different activity: a CENL CrossFit session. Before starting, the professionals from Wildhearts Training Club explained the benefits of this discipline and its positive impact on the health and daily routine of those who practice it.
Then came the action. Through strength, endurance, and coordination exercises, participants pushed their limits in an experience that was as demanding as it was fun. Amid effort, laughter, and the occasional “why did I sign up for this?”, the group overcame each challenge in a supportive atmosphere that perfectly reflected the CENL community spirit.
Beyond the fatigue, the day was a complete success: an opportunity to disconnect, get to know each other better, and share an experience outside the academic environment. Without a doubt, we will repeat initiatives like this, which combine well-being, camaraderie, and good humour… although next time we might add a bit more warm-up.
